GAMEOVER Captain Jeff "Coop" Kilner, had these final words:

"We started off premier league fairly okay and then figured out we were having more fun on games like GTA4 and BF3 and even cod4 open servers, which doesn't involve us committing and spending time and effort which we don't really have now days. After a decision made by our whole team to stop competitive gaming, due to other responsibilities, we had no choice but to call it quits. We will be keeping the GAMEOVER name around and maybe in the future start competitive gaming again. We enjoyed doing what we love doing best, which is competing and striving to be the best! We thank everyone for all the great games that we got to play against and all the friendships we accumulated over the years! Till we meet again on the battlefield!"

 GAMEOVER MAKE PREM
In Last nights game, it was do or die for GAMEOVER. The winner of the second round in the Champions Cup will advance to Premier Division, and the loser will be drafted to First Division.

After an intense second map against mMx (MetroMatix) GAMEOVER managed to win both maps. Starting off the knife round on Seatown where mMx took the knife win. With them winning they were allowed to choose to either Eliminate first, which means they usually get to choose the deciding map from the last two out of the 6 eliminated. In this case it was a best of 3 map's. GAMEOVER got to choose to eliminate the 3 remaining maps.

Starting off on Bootleg with GAMEOVER choosing to Defend first. With it being a fairly high traffic map on B and fridges (above B) GAMEOVER defended well controlling the site with a lot of flashes, which either stopped or slowed their opponents down. Second defence round mMx started to dominate fridges and A side, which meant a change of tactics. GAMEOVER focused on fridges more and manage to control it. finally GAMEOVER winning 13-5.

Second map played was Lockdown, where mMx got to choose the side, they took defence first. Each team taking rounds sometimes one leading by 3-4 rounds at a time. Changing tactics constantly from different SMG routes to smoking places which were never planned to slow it down and draw the opposition. With GAMEOVER being a team that likes to rush and get into the sites and secure them, in this map it did not always work out. The final 4 rounds were very close and intense, with mMx leading 11-10. GAMEOVER pulled off 2 rounds in-a-row with them now leading 12-11. Final round started where it decided if GAMEOVER won the best of 3 maps or had to play the third map. The Final 30 seconds boiled down to 2v2, Where GAMEOVER took down the final 2 mMx players.

very well played to the whole HpX| Gameover team.

 DGL MW3 LEAGUE 2012
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Do Gaming League is a 5vs5 team based league which sees clans from all sides of the Call of Duty community join together to compete to be crowned the Do Gaming Champions and claim their share of R60,000 cash prizes brought you by Megarom and Monster.

The league is split up into three legs, each lasting six weeks. At the end of each leg, teams will be promoted or demoted according to their resulting position.

As this is our first COD MW3 league, we will use leg 1 as a seeding leg. This means that all teams will be placed into groups randomly. At the end of the leg, teams will be seeded according to their finishing position into either the Premier, First, Second, Third or Fourth Division.

At the end of the third leg, teams will be invited to compete on LAN at the Telkom Do Gaming league Championships. In 2011 the Telkom Do Gaming League Championships were held at rAge and we gave away prizes to the value of R360,000!

Megarom and Monster have teamed up with the DGL to provide gamers with the ultimate gaming experience. Megarom, who are a leading game distributor in South Africa, have put forward R50,000 in cash prizes!

Monster Energy has also stepped forward to sponsor the league. They are giving away R10,000 in cash prizes as well as a year supply of action packed Monster Energy drinks for each winning player. The winners will also receive Monster branded Tshirts and caps with their nick names printed on.
